New adamgf website is LIVE
So I’ve put my new portfolio website live now.
A complete overhaul of the site including all new content, a new side-scrolling layout and new adamgf branding.
I will be blogging about the new logo separately including sketches of the creation for those interested.
You can see all new illustration and graphic design work, as well as branding and identity projects and of course
My tasty new site works best on a Hi-Gloss Apple screen!!
For those of you who are among the 60,000 visitors this year to search for custom tattoo designs,
you can see the tattoo design in my new website too! Enjoy!
Any comments about the new site are always welcome.

Custom Guitar Paintjob
- latest paint finish illustration on Fender Strat
- illustration and paint finish for custom Fender Stratocaster
Also, while I am doing my posts…
A lot of people have been asking to see some photos of the Custom paint job done on the Fender Stratocaster.
Well here are 2 photos! I carried out the work from concept to completion for Daniel James of the band ‘Starling’.
With some help from Ben Stretch on the lacquer spray, I painted the plain white Strat myself using Autopaint, a lot of sandpaper,
acryllic and NitroCellulose lacquers as well as the old trusty radiator enamel paint! It all shined up nicely and looks great on stage…
Any questions about how you can customise your own guitar, please drop me a line.

New Wagamama Designs Go Live!
Well, my most recent piece of illustration and design for japanese noodle restaurant wagamama has gone live!
A lot of cutting, pasting, pattern creating and drawing went into creating this piece. I brought in the concept of a 1950s style Christmas survival Guide… never thought they would go for it but it is on-brand and looks mint!
It has been built by Magnitude into an flash advent calendar, giving away vouchers and prizes for the Christmas fun times!

Provocation Films
I have just started blogging on Provocation Films blog.
They are a small collective of filmakers/ designers/ musicians who want to make a difference by
making films ‘with a soul purpose’. I love that. Anyway, more on that later.

Winging It
Get it?
Yeah, so I was on a flight over to Dublin the other night. And there was a natural phenomenon!
It was pitch black outside (it was 11.45PM) and we were flying over the Irish Sea in a bandy, rattled old Ryanair plane (2p flights! Can’t go wrong!) and when we got up above the clouds, there was light! It was really really bright up there, but above the clouds… even though it was night time. I don’t know what it was because the sun has set, but the sky itself was lit up in some beautiful colours. I reached for my camera and this is all I got!! It was a pretty cool experience though. I will be posting some photos of my trip to my Flickr account soon.

Designer of the Week_12 May 08
Designer of the week for this week is a motion graphics delight!
Fill your Visual belly with the work of Maxim Zhestkov. He is a 22 year old director, motion graphic artist and animator from Russia. He is on Flickr too. Please check this guys work out. He is really really fresh talent.
He has worked with Simon Pyke from Freefarm, who is the brother of Matt Pyke from Universal Everything, one of my favourite inspirations in Motion graphics….and a Northerner too! There’s a nice interview with him on the Computer Arts website.
